- Bob StromerOct, 21 2018★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I paid for the top internet package. It is completely unreliable. When it works it’s good. More often than not, though, it doesn’t work very well at all. Download speeds fluctuate from 20 MBs to less than one with upload speeds sometimes worse than dialup. That is if it actually works at all. Glad I don’t have phone service from Fairpoint. If I did I would probably lose all contact with the rest of the world.
